Privacy Policy — B2B Tier Discounts
Information we access
The app requests the Shopify write_discounts permission. It uses this only to create, update, activate, and deactivate the merchant's automatic B2B discount. Shopify also provides the shop domain and authenticated session information needed to operate the embedded app.
We do not request or access customer lists, customer personal data, orders, products, inventory, carts, payment information, or storefront themes.
How we use information
The app uses the selected customer-tag rule and discount percentage to configure Shopify's native automatic discount. Shopify evaluates the tag during checkout; the app does not receive or process the customer's checkout details.
What we store
We store only the Shopify session data required to keep the app authenticated for a store. We do not store copies of customers, orders, products, carts, payment data, or discount eligibility results.
Data retention and deletion
When the app is uninstalled, the stored Shopify sessions for that shop are deleted. We authenticate and respond to Shopify's mandatory shop/redact, customers/data_request, and customers/redact webhooks. Because the app does not retain customer personal data, there is no customer data to return or erase.
Security and sharing
All communication with Shopify uses HTTPS. We do not sell, rent, share, or use merchant data to train machine-learning models. Production access is limited to the developer.
Changes
We will update this policy if the app's data practices change and will publish the new effective date on this page.
