B2B Tier Discounts — Help Center
Getting started
- Open the app. In Shopify Admin, open Apps → B2B Tier Discounts.
- Choose a tier. Select one supported tag, from
b2b_tier_01tob2b_tier_50. - Set the discount. Choose a whole-number percentage from 1% to 100%, then activate B2B pricing.
- Tag eligible customers. In Shopify Admin → Customers, add the exact selected tag to each wholesale customer.
- Verify checkout. Add any product to cart and use that customer's email at checkout. Shopify displays the automatic discount.
Optional storefront message
Your discount already works at checkout without this step. To also show a wholesale-pricing note on product or cart pages, open the app and select Add the block to my theme. That opens the theme editor with the B2B pricing status block already added to your current theme's product template — position it where you want, edit its heading and message, then save.
You can also add it by hand: Online Store → Themes → Customize, then in a product or cart template choose Add block → Apps → B2B pricing status. Either way the message is informational only; Shopify applies the actual discount at checkout, and the block never rewrites your product prices or edits your theme code.
FAQ
- Does the app change product prices?
- No. It creates a native Shopify automatic discount. Standard product prices remain unchanged.
- Do customers need a discount code?
- No. Eligible customers receive the configured discount automatically at checkout.
- Should I add the tag to products?
- No. Add the selected tier tag to eligible customers. Product tags are not used.
- Can I have more than one tier?
- The free version includes one active tier rule per store.
- How do I pause the discount?
- Open the app and select Pause B2B pricing. Reactivate it later without rebuilding the rule.
- How do I remove wholesale pricing completely?
- Open the app and select Remove B2B pricing, then confirm. This deletes the automatic discount from your store for good. To stop the discount only temporarily, pause it instead.
- What happens if I uninstall?
- Remove the rule first, using Remove B2B pricing. Once the app is uninstalled it can no longer make changes in your store, so a rule left behind stays in your Discounts list with nothing to manage it — you would then have to delete it manually in Shopify Admin. The app's stored authentication sessions are deleted on uninstall. See the Privacy Policy.
