Why this one

One permission. Nothing else.

The app requests a single Shopify permission: write_discounts. That is all it needs to create and manage one automatic discount. It does not read your customers, orders, products, or payments.

No customer data

The app never requests access to customer lists, customer personal data, orders, or payment information. Shopify evaluates the customer tag during checkout — the app does not receive or process checkout details.

No product data

It does not read your products, inventory, or catalog. Product prices stay exactly as they are. The discount is applied by Shopify's native checkout engine, not by rewriting your prices.

Nothing stored beyond the session

The discount rule lives in Shopify as a native automatic discount. The app stores only the Shopify session needed to stay installed and authenticated.

How it works

Three steps. No setup meeting.

01
Tag a customerIn Shopify Admin, add a predefined tier tag to the customers who should receive wholesale pricing. The app supports tags b2b_tier_01 through b2b_tier_50.
02
Set one percentageOpen the app and choose the tag and discount percentage. Save, and the app creates a single automatic discount tied to that tag.
03
Shopify applies itWhen a tagged customer reaches checkout, Shopify applies the discount natively to every item in the cart. No codes to share, no manual adjustments.

Optional: show a storefront message. The app includes a theme app extension that can display a wholesale eligibility notice on product and cart pages. It tells tagged customers their discount applies at checkout — without rewriting prices or editing your theme code. Add it from the app or from the theme editor under Apps.

Honest comparison

When to use something else.

This app does one thing. If you need the things on the right, an all-in-one wholesale app or Shopify's own B2B features are built for that.

Use B2B Tier Discounts

You want one percentage discount for a group of tagged customers, applied automatically at checkout.

Use an all-in-one wholesale app

You need multiple tiers, per-collection rules, volume breaks, minimum order quantities, or customer-specific pricing by SKU.

Use B2B Tier Discounts

You want Shopify to handle the discount natively in checkout — no scripts, no price rewriting, no checkout customization.

Use an all-in-one wholesale app

You want adjusted prices visible on product pages before the customer adds anything to cart.

Use B2B Tier Discounts

You want an app that requests one permission and does not access your customers, orders, or product catalog.

Use a full B2B platform

You need company accounts, net payment terms, purchase orders, approval workflows, or a managed wholesale catalog.

Questions

Before you install

Does the app change my product prices?
No. It creates a native Shopify automatic discount. Your standard product prices remain unchanged everywhere.
Do customers need a discount code?
No. Eligible customers receive the configured discount automatically at checkout when they sign in or enter their email.
What Shopify data does the app access?
The app requests only the write_discounts permission. It does not request or access customer lists, customer personal data, orders, products, inventory, carts, or payment information.
Can I have more than one tier?
The free plan supports one active tier rule per store. You can change the tag and percentage at any time.
What about the storefront message?
The app includes an optional theme app extension that shows a wholesale eligibility notice on product and cart pages. It is informational only — it never rewrites prices or edits your theme code. Add it from the app or from the theme editor.
Will it stay free?
The current version is free with no billing integration. If a paid plan is introduced in the future, existing features will not be taken away from stores that already installed.
How do I remove the discount?
Open the app and choose Remove B2B pricing. The automatic discount is deleted from your store. To stop the discount temporarily, use Pause instead — it keeps your saved rule. See the Help Center for details.
How do I uninstall, and what happens to my data?
Remove the rule first using Remove B2B pricing, then uninstall from Shopify Admin. The app's stored sessions are deleted. Because the app does not retain customer personal data, there is nothing else to remove. See the Privacy Policy for details.
